A little over a year ago I felt the need to shake things up in my life. The monotony of my everyday routine was really dragging me down.
I decided to get re-involved with martial arts, something I remember enjoying as a kid. After my first class I quickly realized that I found what I had been looking for.As a few months passed I was losing weight and feeling great while learning new skills, however I was also losing strength.
That's where being a Matrix member really came into play. I soon figured out a way to pair my training at Omni Martial Arts with my strength & conditioning training at the Matrix Fitness Club and really found the prefect formula for success. With all Matrix has to offer, I managed to lose over 50 lbs while gaining functional strength. On June 17th 2016 I made my MMA debut and wound up finishing my opponent in 22 seconds of the very 1st round! That's a beautiful thing.
